Strolling through the beautiful vineyards at I Veroni, one of our favorite imports from Chianti Rufina. These sun-drenched vines produce some amazing Sangiovese fruit thanks to the south facing slopes and slightly warmer temps compared to the rest of the appellation.  Always a pleasure to drink! Thx to Marco Zargioni for Weinkrake.

“Looking southeast from the castle high above the town of Bacharach earlier this month, with morning mist lifting to reveal the beautiful slope of vineyards behind the town of Lorch. A great source of some seriously good Riesling, this part of the River Rhein is being increasingly planted to Pinot Noir.” contributed by Tom Dansk.
